Monthly Foundation Update: September 2020

September 17th marked National Teach Ag. Day. The North Dakota FFA Foundation helped celebrate by giving a $50 gift card to a North Dakota ag. teacher. The $50 gift card was given to the current (or past) teacher who received the highest number of nominations. Congratulations to Mr. Brian Schneider of the Napoleon FFA Chapter for winning the prize!

Ag. in the Classroom Grant applications closed!  Thank you to those who applied to receive (up to) $500 to use towards agricultural-centered lessons.  The Foundation will be reviewing the applications and announcing winners soon.

Help us continue our Blue Jackets, Bright Futures program!  The cost to donate a blue jacket to a North Dakota FFA member is $74.  Click here to donate one (or many!) FFA jackets.  Jackets will be awarded to FFA members in January 2021.

Andrew Young attended the Agriculture Innovation Center’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new facility, located in Wahpeton, contains a state-of-the-art greenhouse facility, welding booths, a food science kitchen, a mobile meat lab and more.
