Monthly Foundation Update: July 2020

ND FFA Foundation Board of Directors met for the summer meeting on July 28th in Bismarck. Many upcoming topics were discussed, and a full recap of the meeting can be found in the minutes posted on our website. Thanks to all the board members who were able to participate!

Tommy Winders is moving on from his role as Executive Director of the ND FFA Foundation. He will be going to NDSU to continue his education this fall. Tommy is grateful for the opportunity to serve this great organization and is excited to see all the exciting things that lie ahead for the Foundation. A big thank you to Beth Allen, the Foundation Board, the Association, the Abovo team, and all members and educators involved in ND FFA for making this experience so positive and rewarding.

Aaron Johnson of the Garrison FFA chapter was named the 2020 ND Star Farmer! Aaron’s commitment and passion towards agriculture and farming is admirable, and this reward highlights how deserving of this award he is. Congratulations to Aaron on this incredible accomplishment. Tyler Lee of the Carrington FFA chapter was named the 2020 ND Star in Agricultural Placement. Tyler’s hard work and passion led him down this path, and it is exciting to see his work get recognized in this way! Congrats on this accomplishment, Tyler. Congratulations to two ND ag educators, Nikki Doll and Breanna Bregel, on being selected as National Teacher Ambassadors! We are lucky to have so many great ag educators in our state, and these two hope to create innovation and promote new ideas across ND ag education classrooms.
