  1.  273 jackets to 57 chapters from 147 donors at the 2019 Winter Leadership Conference.

 

2.  College scholarship applications are due February 6th.  Eligible members can apply on our website.

Four grant recipients from the Napoleon FFA Chapter (left to right), Ethan Schaffner, Payton Feist, Sydney Horner and Nathan Gross stand in their classroom with their $1,000 checks.  Thirty-one students across N.D. received a $1,000 grant for their agricultural projects and businesses at their organization’s annual Winter Leadership Conference in Bismarck, N.D. January 5th and 6th.

 

4.  Giving Hearts Day is February 14th!  We have donors who have pledged to match over $9,000.  Please donate on February 14th at GivingHeartsDay.org and/or encourage others to do the same.  The Foundation will be giving gifts for the donations we receive at different levels:

9.  The Foundation’s Bakk Farm Grants were featured in the Bismarck Tribune and on The Flag AM1100’s website.

 

10.  We celebrated the lives of our Brothers In Blue and #NDFFAmily: Lyle Warner, Vaughn Torfinnson, Fred Gerth, and Gerald Puppe.

 

11.  State Officers have been busy visiting our sponsors and donors!  Morgan Krizan is pictured with Farm Credit Services who, every year, donates the FFA Student Handbook to every chapter across the state.

 

12.  The Foundation is giving cash prizes to the chapters who help promote Giving Hearts Day.  Click here for a checklist on what your chapter can do to be entered to win.

 

13.  TransCanada Living to Serve Community Service Grants are due February 28th to Tam tmaddock@ndffa.org. See Tam’s previous email for an application.
