Olivia Buckeye will serve as the 2021 NDAAE Summer Intern. Buckeye is a junior at North Dakota State University majoring in Ag. Ed.
Olivia Buckeye (Edgeley) has been selected as the 2021 North Dakota Association of Agricultural Educators (NDAAE) summer intern, a position funded through the efforts of the NDAAE, the North Dakota FFA Association and the North Dakota FFA Foundation.
Buckeye is currently a junior at North Dakota State University and plans to graduate after the fall of 2022 with a degree in agricultural education. Buckeye has “always known she wanted to major in something related to agriculture,” but she didn’t find her path until after her start at NDSU.
As the 2020 NDAAE intern, Buckeye looks forward to rounding her experiences with the North Dakota FFA, especially as she prepared to, one day, be an Ag. teacher in ND herself! “I look forward to becoming more familiar and comfortable with the different competitions and CDEs that happen during the summer. I am also excited for the networking side of things; I love meeting new people and I know I will have many opportunities during this internship,” says Buckeye.
