The North Dakota FFA Foundation is thrilled to announce its largest single monetary donation to date: a $200,000 gift from the Governor’s Heritage Foundation. Unveiled during Governor Kelly Armstrong’s Inaugural Ball, this extraordinary contribution highlights the growing recognition of agricultural education’s importance in North Dakota.

The ND FFA Foundation supports over 7,700 FFA members across 96 chapters statewide by providing scholarships, leadership development opportunities, and career readiness programs. This historic gift will further expand the Foundation’s mission, helping more students grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

FFA members and alumni demonstrated their trademark spirit of service by stepping up as volunteers at the inaugural ball. Representatives from chapters in Dickinson, Mandan, Wilton, Wahpeton, Bottineau, Newburg, and Fessenden-Bowden, along with past state officers, brought energy and professionalism to the event donning their iconic blue corduroy jackets, serving as a visual reminder of the legacy and future of the FFA.

“This gift is a powerful testament to the importance of agricultural education and leadership development in North Dakota,” said Laiken DeMorrett, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “It will enable us to expand our impact and continue to empower the next generation of leaders.”
