POSITION AVAILABLE: Administrative Assistant/Program Coordinator

Position Purpose:

*The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support

tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and

discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Expectations/Description:

*The Program Coordinator is a full‐time employee of the North Dakota FFA Foundation.

*The Program Coordinator reports to the ND FFA Executive Director.

*Limited travel may be required related travel expenses will be reimbursed.

*The ability to lift minimum of 40 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

*Ability to work independently.

*Strong organizational skills, self‐initiative, and verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

*Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a diverse group of people.

*Advanced competency in Microsoft Office suite of programs including: Word, Excel, Quicken, Quickbooks.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Prior experience in similar role or industry.

*Experience with Event Planning preferred.

*Familiarity of Career and Technical Education Student Organizations such as FFA.

Major Responsibilities:

*Getting mail from post office, copying all checks and assist Executive Director with entering contributions.

*Preparing deposits and other misc. bookkeeping.
*Programing – Promote grow and manage programs the ND FFA Foundation currently has for its members,

teachers and chapters.

*Assist with the development and maintenance of external Foundation documents and promotional materials.

*State Convention: Career Fair coordination, assist with planning Sponsor and Member Banquet, assist with
writing press releases & photography, assist with planning of Sr. Social and misc. duties.

*Giving Tuesday: assist with campaign ideas, design, and distribution.

*Assist with board meetings and preparation.

*Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $36,000 – $41,000 salary dependent  skills, and experience. $300/month health insurance contribution.
