Frey-Diversified Livestock Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award Winner Little did she know how far this opportunity would take
her. Lynsey started out with a As Lynsey became older, she decided to use both her sheep
and cattle in her Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) program. She
has now been raising When she started, Lynsey’s goals were to expand her herd
by breeding replacement ewes and heifers and purchasing high-quality females
from state and national shows. Lynsey also wanted to learn how to properly fit
her animals for show and to improve the quality of her flock and herd by
selecting quality bulls and rams to breed. Lynsey said “I wanted to be able to
sell high performance rams through state and national sheep sales and high
performance bulls through our annual production sale in February of each
year.” Lynsey is currently raising 125 herd of registered The future is bright for Lynsey as she plans to major in
Animal and Range Science and Pre-Veterinary at NDSU. In the future Lindsey would
