Josh Sattler – Ag
Mechanics Repair and Maintenance Placement Proficiency Award Winner Josh Sattler, a recent
graduate of Hartley’s Body Shop is a
bus sales and service company which operates and services clients in a three
state region. It is a very large business operated with few employees, so
employees must be knowledgeable in several aspects of agricultural mechanics. Josh has put in over 3,000
hours working for Hartley’s in the past three years. Some of the skills
that Josh has learned include: using a cutting wheel, welding, checking fluids
and replacing parts on the busses, sanding and painting, and body repair and
maintenance. Josh plans to attend
Bismarck State College in the fall with an emphasis in auto body repair.
After obtaining a degree he plans to start his own body shop. The Ag Mechanics Repair and
Maintenance Proficiency awards are sponsored by Butler Machinery and a tool kit
is provided to the winner of this area by Titan Machinery. |
