Eric Crimmins – Turf Grass Management Proficiency Award Winner

Lawn Care for All

Eric Crimmins, a recent graduate from McClusky High School , began his lawn mowing business with the simple goal of making some money.  After the first year, Eric decided that he could make money for college and expand his customer base.  In the three years Eric has been mowing lawns, he has doubled the size of his business – while adding the local nursing home which is his largest customer.

Eric’s FFA advisor, Craig Zimprich, said, “Eric does a very good job to make sure that his customers are very satisfied.  The last couple of years, he has bid out a couple of large commercial lawns and done a nice job with them.”

Along with his lawn service, Eric has kept busy in high school. He has served as a FFA officer for several years and became District 2 Sentinel of the Day last fall.  He has also been very active in sports, playing on both the basketball and track team.

The Turf Grass Management Proficiency awards are sponsored by the ND FFA Foundation and John Deere.
