State FFA Leadership Conferences in Bismarck

Bismarck - Three leadership conferences for members of the FFA will be held in Bismarck on January 7-8.  The 101 conference, which will be conducted by the North Dakota State FFA Officer team and former National FFA Officer Wyatt DeJong, will be held at the Ramkota Hotel. This segment of the tri-conference will involve FFA members who are middle school or freshmen students and are learning about the FFA and how to become a good member in an organization.

For sophomores, the 212 conference is aimed at the development of basic leadership skills in members. This group will be held at Bismarck Career Academy.

The 360 conference is aimed at grades 11-12 with the focus on working with chapter leaders who may become leaders in the state and perhaps on a national level.  This conference will be held at the Ramkota.

Steve Zimmerman, State Supervisor of Ag-education and FFA said, "We plan to have over 900 students attending these conferences, learning leadership skills that they can take home to their chapters, school, and community."
