Northland Ford Partners with the North Dakota FFA

January 11, 2012

North Dakota’s FFA members start 2012 with a new partner in Northland Ford Dealers, Inc.  Northland Ford recently announced their generous gift of $25,000 to the North Dakota FFA Foundation.  With this donation, Northland Ford became the first Distinguished Star Partner in the North Dakota FFA Foundation’s Star Partner program.  This partnership will assist the Foundation in fulfilling its mission providing financial support to FFA members and agricultural education programs across North Dakota.  Another new Star Partner helping to provide leadership and scholarship opportunities to the FFA, is Dakota Plains Cooperative, based out of Valley City.

FFA is an integral part of the Agricultural Education/Agribusiness Program, involving over 4700 members in high schools across North Dakota.  Agricultural education provides practical hands-on learning skills for production agriculture, agribusiness, and agricultural leadership. For over half a century, FFA has been a vital part of quality education for many in North Dakota.

The FFA organization makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
