2012 ND State FFA Convention Videographer (Courtesy Corps) information:

15 individuals will be selected as “videographers” for the 2012 ND State FFA Convention. Experience in video editing, video shooting and creative media production is not required. Videographer duties will include: shooting highlight video of convention sessions; shooting video of ND FFA members on campus during convention week; shooting man-on-street interviews with sponsors, members and guests; and shooting video of convention events, CDEs and entertainment. Individuals will be required to attend training sessions which will be held at the NDSU Bison Information Network television studio (NDSU’s on-campus television station). The Bison Information Network studio offers state-of-the-art video technology. Individuals will learn proper methods of shooting video, video editing, how to shoot interviews, graphic production and other creative media production. The training sessions will be hosted by Andrew Young; Andrew will be leading the videographers and working with them closely throughout the week. The productions created by the videographers during the convention week will show at sessions and will be used by the ND state FFA Foundation and state office for future promotional materials.

This new program being offered is ideal for chapter reporters, members interested in television broadcast, members interested in graphic production and members interested in video editing/shooting.
