ND FFA Foundation Annual Meeting President Thomas Williams
called the meeting to order. 14
members were present. Myron Johs moves and Bryan
Strom seconds to accept all sponsors and FFA officers as voting members.
Motion passes. Steve Zimmerman moves and
Myron J. seconds to accept the Secretary’s report as given.
Motion passes. Treasure’s report was
given out by Beth. Doug Vannurden
moves and Lenny Tesky seconds to accept the report as given.

Reports Auction-The
auction brought in $9,754.50 Alumni-
They will be holding another raffle this year-everything will be the same as
last year. State Convention-
Doug V. reported an outstanding convention with over 1,400 attendees. Dr. Larry
Case was very impressed with the convention.
Steve reports that changes are coming with new events and contests.
We need to take a close look at the direction our members are going.
Next year will be the 80th anniversary.
Steve will have more to report at the Sept. meeting. National Convention-Doug
V reports that the registration form is on the website and to note that costs
are up. There will be a special
session for the American Degree candidates on Saturday morning.
John Ledbetter from Finley Sharon will be the officer candidate.
We will have 2 nominees for the honorary American Degree and 1 Teacher
nominee. Hopefully, Robert Foertsch from Wyndmere (Agri-star) and Justin Topp,
Carrington (Star-farmer) applications will be accepted. State Fair-
Numbers are good and all is going well. Dairy,
sheep and hogs are expected to be down. A
special thank you to Carol Aichele and Kathy Bohn from Beulah for all of the
arrangements used to help highlight and draw attention to the displays. Transfer Bakk Trust-
The transfer is complete and all went well.
The cash rent is in. Old
Business Sponsorship of events-
Beth provided an updated list. She also spoke about the Star Program and how it
will help sponsor events that are not sponsored yet.
Beth gave the attendees at the Presidents conference a packet containing
all of the ways they can get help with funding such as grants, scholarships
etc… Fundraisers-The
Twins game was June 29 and the Redhawks game was July 16.
NDSU Bison game will be on Nov 1. NDSU
is hoping to plan a special event. Beth
ordered window static decals and handed them out.
She will use these in various ways and the chapters may order them from
her for cost. VSO-
all is in place to take care of these contracts as usual. Board Member to Nat.
Conv. – Thomas Williams will go. Performance review –
Doug V. and Thomas W. will handle Beth’s review.
They will once again send out an email closer to the date. New
Business Ag Ed Intern-Ben
Seidler is doing great. He is
helping Beth with office work. ImpactGiveBack.org-Beth
spoke about this website. We are
listed on it along will other nonprofits it is an easy way to allow people to
donate to us. It is also great
exposure for the foundation. Dakota
Medical Foundation has made this available to us for free right now, come
January there will probably be a fee. WLC-
Beth reports that the reg. fee is up. Bryan
S. moves and Lenny T. seconds that we cover the increase for the DeAlton
scholarship and the foundation scholarship up to $600.

of Officers Doug V. moves to re-elect
Lane Moellenkamp and Thomas Williams. Dennis
Walsh seconds. Motion passes. Mara Glasow’s term is up.
Thank you once again for the plaque, I will miss you all! Lane M. moves to cast a
unanimous ballot and cease nominations for Bruce Bachmeier as the Alumni Rep..

elected. Election of officers
President- Dennis W. moves and Bryan S. seconds to re-elect Thomas W. as
President. Thomas is elected.
Vice President- Lane M. moves and Bryan S. seconds to elect Dennis Walsh
as V.P. . Dennis is elected.
Secretary- Lenny T. nominates Myron Johs as secretary.
